The danger with using any 'automatic' system like slapt-get swaret or
emerde is you run the risk of it overwriting dyne specific in a packages.
As a suggestion, try looking at the slackbuilds at slackbuilds.org .
This is a site of scripts for building from source. Even if you do not
want to try building them (& I am not sure if this would work as d:b is
not slackware at the end of the day) they do list dependencies, which
can be useful). Do remember if you do compile something you can make a
slackware package for future use. If you have a lot of slackware
packages you need to install, just stick them in the same folder &
install with 'installpkg ./*.tgz' & the lot will be installed.
