Hello,

Just like everybody said you've got to copy the /dyne directory to
your hard disk (you don't even need to partition it if it has a
compatible filesystem), and if configuring Grub feels too scary (for
me it was, the first time i decided to go dual boot windows/dyne, and
now that i'm going dyne/ubuntu studio it still is), and if you still
have a windows partition, you can use wingrub to autodetect your
partitions, configure the menu.lst file, and install grub so it runs
after NTLDR (if you ever decide to go back, this can make your life so
much easier)

http://sourceforge.net/projects/grub4dos
that's the wingrub project page, the project is abandoned, but I used
it yesterday on a machine with windows xp service pack 3 installed
with no problems at all.

Good luck with the docking!
