Is it best to partition the disk with just /boot and /root or with /home, /var, /usr, /ect? If so, then which partition should I copy /dyne to?

Yups, dyne's grub won't install on a ntfs filesystem partition. But
it'll do on a ext2/3 or FAT32 fs partition.

So here's my way to install :
1. Boot dyne with cd
2. Copy all files under /dyne to hdd (if there's no hdd partition to
hold dyne's file, create it wih fdisk)
3. Reboot, boot again with dyne cd. Dyne will detect /dyne directory on
hdd and ask whether use cd or hdd, select hdd
4. grubconfig
5. done, next step : nesting

My computer is rather old, Duron 1800 MHz with 256 MB DDR1 SDRAM (16MB
shared for graphic adapter).
