hi! Tnxs a lot for your software. I am trying to run hasciicam in my asus
eee pc webcam, with Ubuntu eee. I am not sure if that's possible... I would
be grateful of any idea or suggestion.
I've been trying and searching through the web but I could nt find out what
to do. Here is the message I get:
"HasciiCam 0.9.1 - (h)ascii 4 the masses! -
http://ascii.dyne.org
(c)2000-2003 Denis Rojo < jaromil @ dyne.org >
watch out for the (h)ASCII ROOTS
http://hascii.org
Device detected is /dev/video0
UVC Camera (eb1a:2761)
1 channels detected
max size w[640] h[480] - min size w[48] h[32]
Video capabilities:
VID_TYPE_CAPTURE can capture to memory
!! error in ioctl VIDIOCGMBUF: : Invalid argument "
My cam works with other programs. I thought it could be related with the V4l
drivers, so I uninstalled the V4l2 and installed the v4l ones, but the
problem remains.
This is what I get when launching lsusb:
Bus 005 Device 004: ID eb1a:2761 eMPIA Technology, Inc.
I realy love ascii art and i d like to have hasciicam running on my
laptop!
yours
