loadmod lp

and use CUPS

For CUPS settings that survive the d:b restart, type the following lines
to your /etc/rc.local

loadmod parport_pc
loadmod lp
rm -r /usr/etc/cups
ln -sf /usr/local/etc/cups /usr/etc/
cupsd
