The only way I could think of is to use a scripting language like python, using pyGame and pySDL to trigger your multimedia clips.
I take it you'd need multiple Sound cards or a client/server kind of environment?

Subject: [dyne:bolic] Some live direction module?
Hi there,
i'm here to ask developpers if there is a module (utility, soft etc...)
i can add to dyne (or an idea to do that...) to make the platform a
direction (regia) console.
I just wrote about the fact i put on RPGs and often we use a central
machine to control all the hi-tech in the event.
I often spend a big amount of time preparing and setting sevar softwares
that can let me send different outputs (multiple (and different) videos,
multiple audio out in different speakers and so on).
You can imagine this is simple to make when u have few outputs...
i'm asking if there's something to set audio reproduction during a
timeline, linking events such playing videos, managing different output
devices and so on... i mean... something like Premiere Studio does on a
Video Edit, but for live purpose and working on dyne: (maybe just an
util that tells other softs what to do and when...).
Hope i wrote an easy way... since i didn't know how to explain and my
english is... spaghetti like :D
bless
MrChillum
