AFAIK openmosix development has stopped, i'm not sure the latest
version for linux-2.6.x is really working.
OTOH the version for linux-2.4.x is well performant, so i consider it
a good idea to use that.

in case you feel like hacking on it, i suggest you compile a 2.4.x
kernel for dyne:II - i'm sure that, despite it's a older kernel, still
many people will benefit from such an effort.
in this quest there might be some minor issues to be fixed in the
core, depending from current udev (ver. >100) compatibility with linux
2.4 and other amenities, but all in all i believe it is not
impossible.
full kernel sources (2.6) of dyne:II are downloaded when you create
the SDK, you can refer to the user manual for up-to-date instructions
about SDK usage, plus remember the 'dynesdk mkkern' command will help
you pack automatically a freshly compiled kernel into an easy to
distribute format for other dyne:II users.
keep us posted! and happy hacking :)
