I'm not a programmer and i'm not very experienced with d:b, but i think that
the best thing to keep this software alive and functional is --> KISS <-- (keep
it simple stupid!).
If programs work fine and the system is stable, light and fast there is no
need of upgrading by adding new partially useful stuffs.
Maybe adding new programs (cinelerra, synfig, and other stuff for music) and
expecially improoving the compatibility and stability of the system would be
the most important things (think of what you had to do before you could start
using all the programs and create something).
