Some things I'd love to see on the next release, for what it's worth:

1. Ardour2 (of course ; )
2. A slightly clearer and more robust script for adding users
(currently the user is not prompted to set a password and they cannot
use a different default shell (/bin/bash, ex.,) even though prompted.
Minor things, but big stumbling blocks to new non-unix-aware users.
3. A jack-aware installation of Audacity (the current one fails to run
if jack is running already)
