Hi
I've test it and it is working correctly ( NV44A geforce 6200 rev a1, pid
0221)
but i can't figure out why you want to do all the install stuff by hand.
It is pretty easy to make a special dyne nvidia-installer version
Assuming you have kernel-src loaded and dl the nvidia installer in current
path
touch patch
Just an empty file with name patch
sh NVIDIA*.run --no-x-checks --apply-patch patch
patching with empty file cause just purge all precompiled interface so
installer now just have source
inside
sh NVIDIA*.run --no-x-checks --add-this-kernel
Compile the kernel module for dyne and pack it inside the installer
Just launch the installer at boot time if an nvidia card is present and
assume license is already accepted if xorg.conf contain a line with
"nvidia", else launch the installer with prompt for license acceptance and
auto configuration for xorg.conf.
I use this method to prepare the nvidia installer before repacking it in
dyne module in my yesterday script.
I'm very interrested to know if it work correctly and what i must correct,
specially for older nvidia cards that i can't really test on my side. I hope
it could be a dyne user contributed tool for envy replacement in dyne.
I'm pretty sure ther's a lot of errors and bad style scripting so feel free
to let me know how you correct that (or not)
