Guarddog firewall is a GUI front end for iptables. That way Linux
n00bs like me can set things up without having to be excessively
technically informed.
It's kinda like a lot of other things I've discovered about the *nix
world. Instead of there being a lot of different programs, there are a
lot of different interfaces to the same core "engine" (like K3B and
others being front ends for cdrecord).
