I believe when Sun made the announcement of their decision to GPL Java
they also said it would take several months for them to go through the
logitstics of making it available under the correct licenses.

So at the end of the year it should be possible (unless of course they
decide to go back on their word, which at all rates would earn them a
severe PR hit).
