Autore: Hans Petter Data: To: dynebolic Oggetto: [dyne:bolic] Read xorg.conf when booting
When I boot Dynebolic 2.0 from CD on my laptop, which has a nest on the
hard drive, it seems like /etc/X11/xorg.conf is not read properly. I
have a widescreen monitor with 1280x800 resolution, but Dynebolic
normally boots into 1024x768 and with the wrong display driver. Then if
I edit xorg.conf, save it and reboot everything is ok. But the next time
it boots into 1024x768 again. This is very annoying. Is there a solution
to this? Would it help to dock? As long as /etc/ is stored in the nest I
don't see why this is a problem.
Also, how can I disable that terrible sound that plays when Dynebolic
has finished booting? I like quiet boots, and this is waking up the
whole neighbourhood!
