Me again. :)

I've been trying to compile two very large apps - wine and qt4 - yet
the make && make install fail because they either give "out of space"
errors or just hang. I'm running a docked 2.3 on a very large hard
disk, so I'm confused why I would run out of room. Is this error
referring to RAM or literal hard disk space? If it is the hard disk
space, how can I increase it to be extremely large? Does this depend
on the size of the nest? My nest is right around 500 MB.
