Now that I solved my internet problem with v2.x, I have noticed another
oddity. While surfing with Firefox running v2.3, I was instructed to load
the Adobe Flash plugin by pandora.com. The automated install failed, and
the manual installer exits with the following message:
flashplayer-installer: line 76: [: 9): integer expression expected
ERROR: Your glibc library is older than 2.2.
Please update your glibc library.
zsh: 5750 exit 1 flashplayer-installer
I have kept docked and nested folders for v1.4.1, and v2.1-2.3 on my hard
drive, so I rebooted into v2.2, same problem. When I tried it with v.2.1,
automatic install worked! So, why is the earlier v2.1 release working, and
not the later versions? Did the glibc library get rolled back in the later
versions?
