Sujet: [dyne:bolic] how to pack your ramdisk and compile kernel your modules

re all,

making an ad-hoc ramdisk with kernel modules is as easy as described in
a little paragraph of the manual: http://dynebolic.org/manual/c594.htm
using the dynesdk command 'mkinitrd' (see 'dynesdk -h') one can repack a
new ramdisk quickly adding extra modules with the -m flag.

to automatically load kernel modules at boot, use the 'modules_ramdisk'
directive in dyne.cfg or as a kernel boot option, it takes a comma
separated list of extra modules to load.

also, for people wanting to compile their own kernel modules i packed
the kernel sources of dyne-2.3 in a .dyne module: kernel-src.dyne will
provide all the kernel headers in place, ready to compile kernel
modules, hopefully handy for nomadic kernel hackers :)
