I just tried pinging the dhoruba computer (eth0 192.168.0.5) from the
lumumba computer (eth0 192.168.0.3) that are connected via the ethernet
ports on my DSL gateway (192.168.0.1) but no luck, so it may be something
other than a DNS issue. I can ping each machine's own eth0 with no problem,
but not the other or the gateway. Again, this problem only occurs with
dhoruba, not lumumba or Windows...
