Thanks, Dan.

Yes, the md5 checked out good, and the burn was validated. I also grabbed
one .iso using torrent, and another with ftp. Both md5 checks came out
clean, and both burned ok. Both disks have the same issue when I try to boot
dyne:bolic 2.3.

Any ideas?

(dyne:bolic 2.2 works fine.)

Thanks again!

It is possible you have a bad download or burn. Did you check the checksum
against the one in the download site? Also, make sure you verify the burn.

Subject: [dyne:bolic] Dyne:bolic 2.3 boot

Congratulations on the best liveCD on Earth!I use and love Dyne:bolic 2.2. It
works perfectly, even the dock and nest.I tried to boot 2.3 but it won't come
up. Basically here's what happens:
boot:Loading /dyne/linux.....................................................
Loading /dyne/initrd.gz................................................

Then the screen goes black and all activity comes to a halt. When the older

Dyne:bolic 2.2 boots, it goes through these first two lines, then the screen
changes to an all black background with a penguin at the top, and lots of
text boot sequence data flies by underneath the penguin as it continues to
boot properly.
I've tried several boot options to correct the dyne:bolic 2.3 boot problem but
none have done the trick. Here's what i've tried:
boot: linux floppy=0,16,cmosboot:
linux acpi=off
boot: linux noapic

Any ideas? If not I'll just keep using dyne:bolic 2.2 for now.

Humbly,
Andy Avera
