I've Ubunti installed and works fine.
Athlon 1200
512mb ram
80gb hd maxtor
Gygabyte mother board
Matrox g550 sk video
On board audio (ac97)

On this system fisrt i've tried dyne 2.1 and work fine with ardour etc...
Nest work fine.

Today I've tried 2.2 and don't work with old nest data (3gb).
I'm logged as root under ubuntu to clear nest.
After X with 2.2 start correctly but some software don't works:
Ardour, Audacity (after choose language crash it).
Rosegarden works fine.
How to resolve?
I'm a discrete musician but very dummy linux user.
