Since the xmms-jack plugin is not included by default in dyne ][
maybe xmms is not the recommended player?

Which player in the dyne ][ suite is recommended for operation with jack? And
which programm may be used for crossfading and headphone-monitoring?
If these questions are answered in some FAQ, I'd be greateful for the URL.
