you can use the 'modules_deny' directive on the boot prompt or inside
the dyne.cfg file. for instance, when prompted with ascii art boot,
instead of pressing enter write:

linux modules_deny=shpchp

then the module won't be loaded. in case of multiple modules to be
denied you can also use a comma separated list.
