Hi folks
I am working on my own distro at the moment (especially dyne 2 module but
also knoppix or dsl based) , it will be a over-layer on any OS since I need
only perl and making some shortcuts .
I plan to make a special version for any OS ( MacOs X, Windows XP, Linux )
but more generally I want to recycle both old hardware and software. For
example, I want to use Win 98 and adapt custom optimised software on it.
My idea is quite simple :
Use old linux distro and upgrade them
For example, I have like 50 old pressed dyne<->bolic 1.1 CDs.
Is it difficult to add new features to them or to patch them so that they
can be almost as good as new ones ??
