run dynebolic 1.3 on several different machines of different types and
speeds
and all is pretty well with that

but have tried many times to get MuSe to run as a standalone app
on many different machines and distros
and very son after startinbg to stream it turns into a stuttering mess
and consumes all the system resources
i also have the same problem with any other version of dynebolic than 1.3
have tried several different versions of MuSe always with the same result
this has happend on
Mepis
FreeBsd 6.0
Damn Small linux
Knoppix
CentOS 4.0
Ubuntu 5.10 x86 and 64bit


hardware

1100 celeron w/768 mg
AMD 2200xp w/512mg
P3 500mhz w/384mg


tried all of these and same result
but Dynebolic 1.3 streams 24/7 a 64kb stereo shout stream

is there a kernel latency patch i need to apply?

any thoughts
