    Hi Aitor.

    suid is something of the past, sure, much like mount and sudo (both
suid-based). And I still prefer sudo to new-fashionned permission
servers and PAM, all things stuffed with so much complexity they only
work in well defined cases or require high expertise to work in other cases.

    And, on your request, there's the option of using capabilities
instead. Aren't capabilities something of the present?

    Seatd is something designed for a use case which never happens: a
computer with severall desktops connected to it, let's say a
"mainframe", a configuration of the past, back to the 80's.

    But, well, Unix is something of the past, while Systemd is
innovative. Therefore I think your argument of the modernity versus the
past is not convincing. But I know you can show better ones in front of
mine (~:
