Hi.
Can anyone help me with this, I wonder?
(I've been trying to contact various Debian people about this, but I've had no
response - even though I ask about Debian and not Devuan - and most of the
online "documentation" I find is either out of date or just doesn't work.)
I'm trying to find out how to set up a machine to build Devuan for an otherwise
unsupported architecture. I know about cross-compiling.
Now, I know that Devuan is not a full Linux distribution - it only contains
things which need modifying from Debian, and the repositories perform clever
redirects to the Debian repositories for packages which don't differ.
However, the installer is clearly Devuan-themed, and I assume that there are
enough Devuan-specific packages that there is an automated build process for
these for all the architectures which Devuan does support.
Can anyone point me at documentation, or at least "reasonably useful guidance
notes" on how to set up such a machine?
I've looked at
https://www.debian.org/devel/buildd/ which seems to be horribly
out-of-date, and also
https://www.ports.debian.org/ - I've followed up contact
email address from both of those but got no response.
I'm hoping that someone here knows how this is done and can share the
information :)
Thanks,
Antony.
