Thank you for the delineated option - - - hmmmmmmmmmm.

It seems that no matter which option I choose (Karl has also generously
outlined another fix (thank you very much Mr Karl!!!) I've got a long
complicated
path to get that 'test bed' system operational.

What makes this even more frustrating is that to this 'operational
idiot' - - - for
lack of a better term, I'd be willing to bet that there will be more of these
imposed cohesivenesses coming down the pipe.

With all respect to the Devuan team - - - - is it time to switch horses - - -
Debian just isn't seeming like the horse to back anymore and it doesn't seem
to be improving any either (the Debian team seems to be developing a real
problem listening - - - they've become excellent at imposing!).
