I agree with Nick on using docker though I still use tdrnetworks repo (I
did not migrate my project to 8.5 yet). Maybe you can try to reach to
tdr maintainers on this forum post :

I intentionally put the link of a specific topic because there is also a
workaround on how to use deb.sury.org (which I did not try).
