I'm currently running a daedalus installation with ispconfig,
pdns-authoritative server and hosting a few websites on it.  It's
running fine and I have no complaints.

The problem is alternat php version. daedalus came with 8.2 and
excalibur has 8.4. The current version is 8.5. I've been using the
tdrnetworks repositories that were developed for chimaera for the
alternate versions due to the sury.org requirement for php8.n-fpm to use
systemd-tmpfiles. I don't get why you would pull in 100,000 lines of
code to handle tmp files, but there it is. the tdrnetworks repos do not
have that requirement and were developed, specifically, to work around
that requirement. php8.5 is not included in the tdrnetworks.

the debian/devuan repositories now contain a systemd-standalone-tmpfiles
package which would seem to meet that php-fpm requirement.

So my question is would it be better to upgrade the daedalus
installation and change repositories (which means uninstalling a ton of
php packages) or create a new excalibur installation and install the
sury packages on that and migrate everything to the new server?
