This doesn't make any difference. All websites were already blocked.
However, there is this:

about:welcome
about:welcome^privateBrowsingld=1

which are marked allow. If they are deleted or changed to block (and
save changes) firefox puts them back when the page is exited.

Autoplaying is only happening on the nytimes.com site (of the ones I visit).

Any suggestions?
