comes out as (with name and value underlined):

       -s name"="value

which kindof looks strange, "pod2man -q none" gets
rid of the quoutes.

For pod2latex --full the resulting dvi file looks fine.

You could add a note that the set of env. is the one given in the section
"ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES".
