Subject: [devuan-dev] bug#948: dracut-install: dracut seems to have added dependency to systemd
Package: dracut-install
Version: 110-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

aptitude is trying to get me to install dracut-install 110-5 which
depends on libsystemd0

older versions of dracut-install did not have this hard requirement:
ie this seems to be a systemd
requirement being snuck in somehow.

various linux images depend on initramfs-tools depends on
initramfs-tools-core depends on dracut-install

ie this seems to be a de facto requirement for the linux kernel
packages themselves

options:
1) removing this hard requirement for dracut-install to use libsystemd0
2) somehow break the dependency chain from linux-image to dracut-install (?)
