Doing it simple, the first is to be sure you have completed the
installation, which is all the way to where the dialog comes up
telling to remove the installer and reboot. If you do so, i.e., you
remove the installer and reboot; what happens?
* Note that while the installer is in place, the machine with UEFI boot
is likely to boot into the installer again.
So does that lead to something?
If you only get the "grub rescue>" prompt then it indicates the
installation was not complete. We can look into that if so.
