Anthony, i meant that when installation finishes and __before__
the first boot, I do Ctl-Alt-F2 to open a terminal. I do no see
howt to access apt or dpkg from it in order to load missing
package.
When I do boot, I get the GRUB menu, something about loading the
kernel and initram disk. Then comes the message I quoted. It
does not say ERROR and I do not get to a grub> prompt.
I worry that my MB GPU chip is dead and so I have a vidio card
loaded in a slot . The module for itr is not present
I also note that I intalled a different operating system (EasyOS)
on an extermal USB disk and it boots just fine.
