My monitor is Del S2721Q5 4 K 3840x216o

Somewere along the line it was suggested I do # xorg -configure. I
have no such command.

The # nvidia-detect says to install nvidia-driver which I did

The command # modprobe nv says module not found
The xorg log EE says nv module not found.

I did not cook my video card because I can boot from another disk
and can run startx and have (low resollution) video.

When I tried to install the packages suggested, nvidia-persistenced
failed to initialize. Couid no process
nvidia-persistenced --configure. As result could not configure
nvidia-driver-full. [not sure of spelling of nvidia-persistenced]
