# ls -ld /etc/rc*.d/rc*
ls: cannot access '/etc/rc*.d/rc*': No such file or directory
OK.
# ls -ld /etc/rc*.d/*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 Nov 2 18:25 /etc/rc0.d/K01alsa-utils -> ../init.d/alsa-utils
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 Nov 2 16:09 /etc/rc0.d/K01brightness -> ../init.d/brightness
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Nov 2 18:39 /etc/rc0.d/K01chrony -> ../init.d/chrony
and many more.
# ls -ld /etc/rc*.d/* | wc
181 1991 15488
Also no evidence of a problem, to me at least.
