I can do that, though it's a problem of the past really anyway now though perhaps Windows 10 dropping updates will cause a surge. They just gave me an extra year to 2026 for enrolling with a microsoft account for free though.

Mint was the only iso I found with bootia32.efi due to a forum discussion and I did what you said via chroot after install. I didn't realise changes persisted or know it wouldn't boot after install.
