Even though i'm reading it right now, the New York Times and my apocalyptic/prophectic sentence (laid in the middle of a comment to a beautiful text like yours) going in the same direction should really mean that the world IS coming to an halt :-)

ps for the music - i Have the song you quoted, ricardo, of course! ponto de equilibrio is one of my favorite reggae bands, in brasil and all around - nice young people pumping the knowledge of wise old men ;-) - for the other ones who like reggae - get them fast, they deserve to be listened to!
