Hi
yesterday, minutes after i sent this, the server where TNL gets hosted
suffered a DDOS attack. stupid script kiddie stuff it seems but badly
effective. they had to shut down apache for a while. before that there
was some dns issue a few days earlier. so lets say the hosting situation
was a bit turbulent lately, but there wasnt much that I could do. on the
same server are some quite prominent projects such as GWEI by
Ubermorgen, so who knows maybe Google tried to shut us down;-) No, but
seriously, I am sure Hans from Ubermorgen calls the sysops 10 seconds
after he realises the server is down, so I dont have to be in their neck
as well
functions have resumed to normal, I really rcommend both the jaromil and
the john barker piece
best
