from what i can understand, your attempt is not using the d:b
bootscripts so far. have you tested binary compatibility with dyne:II
modules?

let's keep in mind we need to substitute debian's boot scripts, in
fact meaning we won't be "based on debian", but just using binary
packages. this is necessary since dyne:3 has to keep squashed /usr and
modules, docking and nesting.

i'm going to try see what happens tweaking update-initramfs
