i don't think one cancels another - of course we are moving on, and we
open our houses to our friends and families, but that doesn't cancel out
'pirating' on governments and mamouth organizations, or other british
ships :)

and 'piriting' doesn't necessarily mean that we depend on them to
survive. as you say, in our authonomy we tend not to need them. anyhow,
in their world they keep existing. if we keep our backs to them they
will not stop existing (governments, evangelists and others)

we are not subsided. we don't ask for money so we can buy a new car, pay
off mortgage or get a new dress for a extra art gallery opening by
saying that we just earn our hones living. we hack because we know how.
we have to be very careful though not to fall in trap. we tell them
nicely we do this, but we do that. they dont know the difference. they
are just making monthly quota and paperwork anyhow. they'll do it with
or without us.

postmodern pirate was a cynical joke and i relize i didn't have to use
it... i can't agree postmodernism is dead though as i see it all around
me wherever i go. and cynicism itself is postmodern :) and YES MAN
should definitely join bricolab, yes, man :)
