Anyway, me and some others have used brasilian government's money
to do some stuff. One can raise a lot of objections about all the
process - accountability, for one. The way some decisions were made
was awful. But there are a lot of people who have had opportunities
they wouldn't have if we refused any questionable form of funding.
I don't think there are clear limits in these matters. Nor am I
saying we should accept anything. I can understand the objections
about associating bricolabs with picnic. But, porra, help Ian
bringing his cabocla with him in exchange for some deep-amazonia
context talking sounds like a fair enough trade.

(Patrice, the image of 'Eucalyptus syndrome' makes a lot of sense,
thanks for that).
