[FreeJ] freej no-run under gentoo (cannnot create video laye…

ei, nice to see this list re-activated :)
phps someone could help me get freej to compile correctly under
gentoo, plis look at this thread where i explain all i have tried,
including breaking a system:

freej doent break, it compiles and i can still open the application
but when tryinf to get a hook of my webcam i get a could not create
red error message

any hints, help, ideas.. appreciated.
